The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, located in Dallas, Texas, is a world-renowned institution that offers a fascinating exploration of President John F. Kennedy’s life, death, and legacy. Located in the historic Texas School Book Depository building where crucial evidence related to the assassination of President Kennedy was discovered, this iconic museum provides an exciting and enriching work environment. Established in 1989 to mark the 25th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the Museum was originally conceived as a temporary exhibition and has since become fully accredited through the American Alliance of Museums.

Our donors are passionate supporters of the Museum who firmly believe in preserving and sharing President Kennedy’s legacy, the historic events of November 22, 1963, and their lasting cultural significance. They come from diverse backgrounds—both local and global—and are united by a commitment to ensuring this critical moment in American history remains accessible and meaningful for future generations. As Stewardship Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of building lasting, collaborative relationships with these dedicated individuals, inspiring them to continue championing the Museum’s mission. You will play an integral role as the Museum enters a growth phase that includes a future capital campaign. Your focus on stewardship and events presents vital opportunities for the Museum to share its story and plans, while cultivating donors in a gracious and sophisticated way.

Museum team members enjoy a competitive compensation package including comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, along with a best-in-class 401(k) contribution and match program. If you love history and enjoy interacting with the public, join us at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. Become part of a passionate team that brings history to life and makes a lasting impact on all who visit.
