Generational Equity is seeking a Managing Director or Senior Vice President (dependent on experience) to manage the marketing process and negotiate the sale of client businesses throughout Arizona. We seek highly organized self-starters who are passionate about M&A and guiding clients in the sale of their companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide valued feedback during Client Evaluation Review Committee process
  • Manage Client Evaluation Deliveries & Engagement Agreements, Identify Motivations
  • Manage completion of Profiles, CIM's, Buyer Lists and Buyer Campaign Launches
  • Respond to Buyer NDA requests, send CIMs, and perform Buyer Profile and CIM follow-up calls
  • Provide timely Client and CRM updates and reports
  • Screen Buyers, work with Marketing Group, Conduct Buyer Visits
  • Conduct "Calls for Offers", LOI Reviews, and LOI Negotiations
  • Manage Due Diligence Process
  • Review and Negotiate Purchase Docs from M&A Perspective
  • Coordinate with Attorneys and Accountants, create referral relationships
  • Assist team activities including front end, ACG, AM&AA, etc.
  • Travel required, 4+ day/overnight trips per month is most typical, but it varies
  • Work from home office and local Exec office in greater PHO / Scottsdale area

Compensation

  • $60-$75k base plus commissions, spiffs, and benefits
  • Target annual compensation range is $150k - $250k+

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 10 years M&A/Business Brokerage experience selling private companies between $1 - $100 million
  • Industry expertise, relationships, background a plus (i.e. IT/Software, Construction, Business Services)
  • Existing network for new client referral sources
  • Self-motivated, self-managed, & results oriented
  • Team & unity driven
  • Detail-oriented

Education and Experience Required

  •   CRM/Salesforce experience
  •   Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher)
  •   Familiarity with AI tools a plus
  •   MBA or other advanced degree a plus
  •   CPA, JD, CFA, CM&AA or other advanced credentials a plus
  •   AZ Real Estate Broker License Required
